Overview

BuildWithRiz ("we", "our", "us") runs free invoice, receipt, estimate, pro-forma and purchase-order generators at buildwithriz.com. This policy explains what happens to the information you type into those tools, what the website itself collects through analytics and advertising, and the choices you have.

What you type into the generators

The generators run in your web browser. The details you enter — your business and client names, addresses, line items, amounts, logo — are turned into a PDF on your own device. They are not sent to our servers, and we have no account system, so we cannot see, store or recover your documents.

For convenience, some of that information is saved in your browser's local storage on your device: an automatic draft of the invoice you are working on, saved templates, the client address book, your last invoice number and your light/dark theme choice. It stays in that browser until you delete it. Clearing your browser's site data for buildwithriz.com removes all of it, and it is not shared between your devices.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how many people visit, which pages they use and roughly where they come from. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as your IP address (which Google uses to estimate location), browser and device type, and the pages you view. It does not receive the contents of your invoices. Analytics cookies are only set after you accept them in the cookie banner (Google Consent Mode v2).

Advertising (Google AdSense)

We use Google AdSense to show advertisements. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, and out of many other vendors' personalised ads at www.aboutads.info. Until you accept advertising cookies in the cookie banner, Google shows only non-personalised or limited ads. Cookies

The cookies used on this site, and how to change your choice, are listed in our Cookie Policy. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the generators keep working without them.

Your rights

Because the generators keep your documents on your device, there is no invoice data held by us to access, correct or delete. For data collected by Google Analytics or AdSense, you can withdraw consent at any time through the cookie banner, use the opt-outs above, or contact us and we will help with any request we are able to act on.

Children

The site is a business tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
